Fold Tally

Privacy policy

Fold Tally does not collect, send, sell or share any data about you.

What Fold Tally stores

The number of folds for each day, a running total, the times of your 200 most recent folds, and a few settings, such as the heat map color and what the squares show. All of it stays on your iPhone, in storage shared by the app and its widgets. On an iPhone that is not an iPhone Duo, See a Sample shows made-up folds and saves nothing.

No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking

Fold Tally has no sign-in, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting service, advertising identifier or tracking code. It makes no network requests.

Shortcuts

Counting depends on a Shortcuts automation that you make and turn on. It runs on your iPhone and starts Fold Tally's Log Fold action when the phone closes.

You make the shortcut in the Shortcuts app yourself, and Shortcuts keeps it under Apple's privacy policy. Fold Tally cannot see your other shortcuts.

Apple

Apple processes your download of the app. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS settings, Apple may send us crash and usage reports. Apple says these reports do not identify you. Apple's privacy policy applies to all of this.

Keeping and deleting your data

Fold Tally keeps your folds until you delete the app. Deleting the app deletes them. Nothing leaves your iPhone, so we cannot see, export or delete your folds for you.

Children

Fold Tally collects nothing from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
